The Sage series represents Spyderco’s 30-year pledge to knife crafting and innovation. It consists of an ongoing series of identical designs featuring different, ingenious lock mechanisms. This model (Sage-2) honors knifemaker Chris Reeve’s contribution to the knife industry with his creation of the Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.). Its flat-ground blade is ground from premium CPM-S30V stainless steel. It is paired with a handle constructed of solid titanium scales that also provide the foundation of the R.I.L. lock mechanism.
